- Work continues on the East side of Erie Boulevard with daily reconfiguration of the Northbound lane(s).

- Variable Message Boards on Northbound lane of Erie Boulevard will be updated to indicate “ALL BUSINESSES OPEN / ACCESS PROVIDED”

- National Grid work continues at the intersection  of State Street and Erie Boulevard.

- Reduction to single lane traffic in both the Northbound and Southbound directions will be required at times.

- Work on Erie Boulevard between State Street and Liberty Street continues with some sidewalk closures required.

State & Erie traffic

During the week of 5/13 National Grid will be working at the intersection of State Street & Erie Boulevard.  At that time Northbound and Southbound lanes on Erie Boulevard may be reduced to single lane traffic at the intersection.

Work Has Resumed

Project has resumed with sidewalk construction on the West side of Erie Boulevard from State Street to So. Ferry Street and So. Ferry to I-890 ramp
Sidewalk replacement on the Southwest corner of Erie Blvd and State Street at Bangkok Bistro
Temporary lane shift of Erie Boulevard Southbound traffic at intersection of State Street may be necessary.
Construction crews will be preparing for traffic lane shift to commence on 4/30/13. 
During this time traffic from I-890 ramps exiting Northbound on Erie Boulevard will occassionaly be reduced to single lane traffic. Please take note of Variable Message Boards placed on 890 for traffic pattern updates.

Beginning 5/1/13 Erie Street will be closed to left hand turns from Northbound traffic on Erie Boulevard.
